| Spencer SBA has created this privacy statement ("Statement")
in order to demonstrate our commitment to our members' privacy. Because
you provide important information, we've established this statement
as a means to communicate our information gathering practices.
Information Collection and Usage
Spencer SBA requires members who request information, and subsequently
register for newsletters or educational programs to provide contact
information such as their name, company name, address, phone number
and email address and when required, financial qualification and billing
information such as billing name and address and credit card number.
Spencer SBA typically asks for additional information when a member
requests information about our products and services. This information
often includes title, department, fax number and additional company
information such as annual revenues, number of employees, and industry.
Members can choose to "opt out" of providing this additional
information.
Spencer SBA uses the collected information to set up accounts for
members and their respective companies. We may also use the information
to contact members to further discuss their interest in Spencer SBA,
our educational programs and services and to send information about
Spencer SBA, our approved partners, and notices of promotions and
upcoming events, if the member has so opted to receive these communications.
Spencer SBA members will automatically be subscribed to our email
newsletter as part of their membership. All members have the opportunity
to choose to opt out from receiving our newsletter. Member information
will not be shared or distributed.
Spencer SBA members will be asked to provide an email address when
registering for usage of Spencer SBA information and services. This
is used to send notification of new partners, opportunities and educational
programs. Members can choose to opt out of receiving these notifications.
Again, member information will not be shared or distributed.
Except as explicitly stated at the time Spencer SBA requests information,
we do not disclose to any third party the information provided. All
financial and billing information we collect is used solely to check
qualifications of prospective students and to invoice our members
for their purchase of Spencer SBA course materials. This billing information
is not used by Spencer SBA for marketing and/or promotional purposes.
Spencer SBA uses a third party for credit card processing. This intermediary
is solely a link in the distribution chain, and is not permitted to
store, retain, or use the information provided except for the sole
purpose of credit card processing.
Spencer SBA maintains log files tracking IP addresses to analyze
trends, help diagnose problems with our servers and to monitor traffic/usage
in order to provide better service to our members. IP addresses are
not linked to personally identifiable information.
A Note to Recipients of Email Messages from Spencer SBA
Spencer SBA does not retain email address information after our members
delete from our servers. We quickly and fervently respond to notification
of violations or abuses of emails sent to users from Spencer SBA,
including failure to honor opt-outs.
Disclosure of Data
Spencer SBA will not disclose your addresses, contact information
or other data to any of our third party partners. If you directly
request information or communications from our third party partners,
that agreement is between you (the member) and the other entity.
Spencer SBA will never sell or share your data or information to
another source.
